Not to be confused with award-winning musical The Wiz.
Earlier today, the official W’z anime website updated with a new teaser trailer. The 98-second promo introduces the major story beats through character dialogue set to animation clips, as a vocal theme song plays in the background.
W’z will premiere on January 5, 2019. Tokyo MX, the TVQ channel family, BS11, and web outlets will carry the series.
The project is a co-production between GoHands and FrontierWorks, with GoHands listed as the original creators.
GOON TRAX will produce the title’s music, with DJ Rena handling video and musical production cooperation. W’z will also feature tracks from 27 artists:
