Despite the name, we’re learning a lot about this series.
Earlier today, an official website and Twitter account for the We Never Learn (Boku-tachi wa Benkyō ga Dekinai) anime TV series opened their doors. The site includes a teaser visual, as well as the first staffers attached for the project were confirmed.
We break the details down below.
Visual
The new visual features the show’s four leads, set against a white background that’s speckled with colored shapes.
Staff
Yoshiaki Masaaki (Hayate the Combat Butler!!, Love Hina) will direct the series at Studio Silver and Arvo Animation, with Masakatsu Sasaki (Seiyu’s Life!, A-Channel) providing character designs. Go Zappa (Blend S, Beatless) is in charge of series composition.
Taishi Tsusui is listed as the original creator for the work.
Taishi Tsutsui’s We Never Learn launched in the pages of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2017. The series currently spans seven compiled volumes, with the latest hitting stores on July 4.
Viz Media currently distributes We Never Learn in North America. They describe it as:
One boy and two beautiful girls geniuses. Hijinks ensue in one of the latest series from Shonen Jump Japan!
The title made its début in North America as part of Viz’s “Jump Start” initiative, and became a regular title in Weekly Shonen Jump starting in April 2017.
