Earlier today, Adult Swim’s Toonami block announced that they will air the fourth season of My Hero Academia. The series will hit the block on November 9, at 11:00PM local time.
My Hero Academia returned to Japanese TV on October 12. Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Funimation are streaming the show as it airs in Japan. Funimation is also producing a SimulDub.
Kenji Nagasaki returned to serve as chief director for the new season at Bones, Masahiro Mukai (Trickster, Hyperdimension Neptunia) taking the director’s chair. Yousuke Kuroda (Gundam Build Fighters, Trigun) is penning the show’s scripts, while Yoshihiko Umakoshi (Berserk) provides character designs.
Funimation describes My Hero Academia season 4 as:
The villain world teeters on the brink of war now that All For One is out of the picture. Shigaraki of the League of Villains squares off with Overhaul of the yakuza, vying for total control of the shadows. Meanwhile, Deku gets tangled in another dangerous internship as he struggles to keep pace with his upperclassman—Mirio.
