Earlier today, Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel ii. lost butterfly hit Japanese theaters. At the end of the show, a short teaser trailer was shown that confirms that the third film, titled Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel iii. spring song, will open in Spring 2020.
The Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] films will adapt the “Heaven’s Feel” branch of the Fate/stay night visual novel. Tomonori Sudou (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) will helm the project at ufotable, with Takahiro Miura providing storyboards. Yuki Kajiura (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Madlax) will score the films’ soundtracks.
Aniplex of America currently holds the rights to Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel ii. lost butterfly. They plan to give the film a North American theatrical release in 2019.
