Earlier today, the official The Rising of The Shield Hero anime website updated with a new teaser trailer. The two-minute teaser offers a brief plot overview, with character dialogue delivering the main story beats.
The Rising of The Shield Hero will air in January. Crunchyroll will stream the series as part of their digital lineup.
The title adapts Aneko Yusagi and illustrator Minami Seira’s novel series of the same name. Takao Abo (Norn9) will direct the project at Kinema Citrus, with Masahiro Suwa providing character designs. Keigo Koyanagi is in charge of series composition.
The confirmed voice cast includes:

- Naofumi Iwatani: Kaito Ishikawa
- Motoyasu Kitamura: Makoto Takahashi
- Itsuki Kawasumi: Yoshitaka Yamaya
