Earlier today, the official The Irregular At Magic High School anime website announced that the series will get a second season in 2020. The new run will adapt volumes 9 – 11 of the light novel series, which make up the “Visitor Arc.”
The first cast and crew members were revealed, along with a key visual and teaser trailer. We break the details down below.

Risako Yoshida (The irregular at magic high school The Movie: The Girl Who Summons the Stars, Diabolik Lovers More, Blood) will return to direct the project at studio 8-Bit, with Kana Ishida (Shonen Maid, Wakaba Girl) providing character designs. Taku Iwasaki (Black Butler, Gurren Lagann) will score the season’s soundtrack.

At the National Magic University First Affiliate High School, A.K.A Magic High School, students are divided into two distinct groups according to their academic performances.
