So, where will they keep running to?
Earlier today, anime studio Signal.MD announced that they will produce a new anime TV series. The project, titled I’m Glad I could Keep Running (Hashiritsuzukete Yokattatte). The studio opened an official Twitter account, which unveiled the show’s core cast and crew members, as well as initial details on the show’s plot.
We break the details down below.
Staff
Masatsugu Arakawa (Bottom Biting Bug, Nurse Witch Komugi) will direct the project at SIGNAL.MD, with HoneyWorks’ Yamako providing character designs. Natsuko Takahashi (Cutie Honey Universe, Urahara) is in charge of series composition for the title.
The project itself is a co-production between Monthly Animage magazine and the Yoyogi Animation Academy.
Cast
The series will star the following:
- Minato Suyama: Jun Fukuyama
- Chikako Ōmori: Iori Noguchi
- Ryōta Nakata: Kousuke Toriumi
- Kei Ikoma: Mai Fuchigami
- Shiori Gushikata: Koinu
Plot
The series will revolve around Minato Suyama. He joins a friend at an anime event, which has a voice acting recital. At the event, Minato also meets Chikako, who is a student at the Suidōbashi Animation Academy.
The recital, meanwhile, leaves Minato enthralled by the actors’ raw talent.
I’m Glad I could Keep Running will be a four-episode series, which revolves around those who aspire to become voice actors.

Premiere
I’m Glad I could Keep Running will air on BS11 starting October 8. Each episode will run for 15 minutes.
