Earlier today, GKIDS announced that Weathering With You will hit North American theaters on January 17, 2020. The publisher streamed an English-subtitled trailer for the film, which you can check out below.
Weathering With You opened in Japanese theaters on on July 19.
Makoto Shinkai directed the film and wrote the scripts at CoMix Wave Films, with Masayoshi Tanaka (anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, your name.) providing character designs.
