The twilight creeps ever closer, as we enter this new simulcast season.
Earlier today, Sentai Filmworks announced that they acquired the rights to The Girl in Twilight (Akanesasu Shōjo). The publisher picked up the license for the title in the United States, Canada, the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Latin America, and other select territories. The publisher will stream the show on digital outlets as a simulcast. A home video release is also planned.
The Girl in Twilight will hit Japanese TV on October 1. The series will air on the following networks (All times JST):

- Tokyo MX: 10/1/2018 at 22:30 (10/1/2018 at 10:30PM)
- Yomiuri TV: 10/1/2018 at 26:29 (10/2/2018 at 2:29AM)
- Animax on PlayStation: 10/1/2018 at 24:27 (10/2/2018 at 12:27AM)
Jin Tamamura (Iron Vendetta) was tapped to direct the project at studios Dandelion Animation Studio and Jūmonji, with Yuuichi Abe (SD Gundam Force, Gundam Evolve OVA 1) serving as series director. Hiroki Harada (Sweetness & Lightning, Jewelpet: Magical Change) will provide character designs, while Shogo Yasukawa (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Mitsuboshi Colors) takes charge of series composition.
Ryūtarō Nakahara, under the pseudonym Ryu☆, will score the soundtrack. MICHI will perform opening theme song Solanetarium, while Ayami Wajima performs closing theme song Broken Radio.
