To be honest, they really went all-out with the casting.
Yesterday, Anime Limited announced that their upcoming UK release for Rokka -Braves of the Six Flowers- will include an English dub. They revealed the show’s main cast, which is as follows:
- Adlet: Robbie Daymond
- Nachetanya: Abby Trott
- Flamie: Brianna Knickerbocker
- Goldov: Ray Chase
- Chamot: Kira Buckland
- Maura: Wendee Lee
- Hans: Ben Diskin
Anime Limited will release Rokka -Braves of the Six Flowers- on home video on May 28. The series will be offered in standard DVD and limited collector’s Blu-Ray editions. The collector’s edition will also include a 48-page artbook.
Pony Can USA released the title in North America on subtitled Blu-Ray in 2015 and 2016. Pony Can USA hasn’t announced their plans for a re-release of the title.
Rokka – Braves of the Six Flowers hit the airwaves during the Summer 2015 broadcast season. Takeo Takahashi (Spice and Wolf) directed the series at Passione, while Sayaka Koiso (Rail Wars!) provided character designs. Tatsuhiko Urahata (DNA², NANA) wrote the show’s scripts. PonyCan USA currently holds the rights for the series in North America. They describe the story as:
Legend says, when the Demon God awakens from the deepest of darkness, the Goddess of Fate will summon Six Braves and grand them with the power to save the world. Adlet, who claims to be the strongest man in the world, is chosen as one of the “Braves of the Six Flowers,” and sets out on a battle to prevent the resurrection of the Demon God. However, it turns out that there are Seven Braves who gathered at the promised land…
The Seven Braves notice there must be one enemy among themselves, and feeling of suspicion toward each other spreads throughout the group, with Adlet being the one who gets suspected first and foremost.
