Earlier today, the official Re:Zero anime website updated with a new key visual for upcoming OVA Hyōketsu no Kizuna (Frozen Bonds). The image depicts Emilia encased in an ice crystal. Maidens made of snow and shards of ice surround it.
Re:Zero: Hyōketsu no Kizuna will get a theatrical run in Fall 2019. The episode will tell the tale of the first encounter between Emilia and Peck.
Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- is based on Tappei Nagatsuki’s light novel series of the same name. The series originally began airing in the Spring 2016 broadcast season, and ran for two cours.
Masaharu Watanabe (Wakaba Girl) directed the project at White Fox, with Kyuta Sakai (Higurashi no Naku Koroni Kai, Steins;Gate) providing character designs. Masahiro Yokotani (The Devil is a Part-Timer!, Free! – Iwatobi Swim Club) was in charge of series composition.
Crunchyroll streamed Re:ZERO as it aired in Japan. They describe the title as:

As he’s lost and confused in a new world where he doesn’t even know left from right, the only person to reach out to him was a beautiful girl with silver hair. Determined to repay her somehow for saving him from his own despair, Subaru agrees to help the girl find something she’s looking for…
