Sword Art Online fans around the world are anxiously awaiting October 12 because that’s when the second half of the third TV season will be premiering.
To whet the appetites of fans, a brand new promotional video was uploaded to Twitter earlier today which not only features new footage from the upcoming season but also the new theme song which is being performed by Haruka Tomatsu (the voice of main heroine Asuna). Check it out!

Manabu Ono (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, The irregular at magic high school) will direct the project at A-1 Pictures, with the team of Gou Suzuki (Oreimo 2, Minami-ke Natsuyasumi), Shingo Adachi (Megaman Star Force, Sword Art Online), and Tomoya Nishiguchi providing character designs. Yuki Kajiura is scoring the show’s soundtrack.
Sword Art Online: Alicization is adapting the “Alicization” arc of the Sword Art Online light novels, which spans volumes 9 – 18.
