Superhero fans have something new to celebrate today as Netflix has taken to Twitter to reveal that the 3DCG animated series, Ultraman, will be getting a second season. No further details were revealed regarding the new season but please stay tuned as more information is released over the coming months.

Premiering on April 1, 2019, the 13 episode series was directed by Kenji Kamiyama (Eden of the East, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed, Metal Skin Panic MADOX-01) at studios Production I.G. and Sola Digital. The team of Nobuko Toda and Kazuma Jinnouchi handled the soundtrack.
