On March 29, Crunchyroll revealed three new guests for their 2019 CRX convention. The convention will host the following as guests:
- Setsuo Ito (Voice Actor)
- Yuzuru Tachikawa (Director)
- Yoshimichi Kameda (Character Designer)
All three guests worked on the Mob Psycho 100 anime. Setsuo Ito voiced the titular Mob. Tachikawa directed the project, and Yoshimichi designed the characters.
In addition, Crunchyroll announced on Wednesday that TeddyLoid will attend this year’s event as a guest.
Setsuo Ito has been active in the industry since 2013. He is a graduate of Sapporo’s Human Academy College, and made his voice acting debut as “Participant A” in 2013’s Maji de Otaku na English! Ribbon-chan the TV.
Since then, he’s gone on to star in ten titles, including Anime-Gataris (Kai Musashikai), Pupipō (Ryōhei Ameyama), and Mob Psycho 100 (Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama).
Yuzuru Tachikawa has been active in the industry since the 2000s. Through his career, he’s worked on thirty-one anime titles, including Steins;Gate (Episode Director, ep. 12), Saga of Tanya the Evil (Unit Director & Storyboards, ep. 11), Death Parade (Director & Writer), and Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer (Director, Storyboards, Unit Director).
Yoshimichi Kameda has been active in the anime industry since the 2000s, when he began as an in-between animator on works like Batman: Gotham Knight and a key animator for Soul Eater episode 34. Since then, he’s gone on to lend his talents to more than fifty anime projects, including Ah! My Goddess: Flights of Fancy (In-Betweens), Bleach (Key Animation, ep. 341), Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (Key Animation, In-Betweens), Gurren Lagann (In-Betweens, ep. 25), and Space Dandy Season 2 (Animation Director, Guest Animator & Alien Design, Key Animation).
CRX 2019 will be held from August 30 through September 1, at California’s San Jose McEnery Convention Center.
