Even a closing theme can have that special “May’n Event” status. (Can’t stop, won’t stop making puns)
Earlier today, JVC’s Flying Dog label announced that May’n will perform the ending theme song for the upcoming Phantom in the Twilight anime series. As of press time, the song’s title hasn’t been announced.
Phantom in the Twilight hits Japanese TV this July.
The series is an original project from mobile game developer Happy Elements. Kunihiro Mori (SD Gundam Sangokuden Brave Battle Warriors, Mars Daybreak) is directing the series at Liden Films, with Megumi Yamashita providing character designs. The team of Fumiaki Maruto (Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend, Classroom Crisis) and Shunsaku Yano (Record of Grancrest War) are in charge of series composition.
The confirmed voice cast includes:
- Bayrou Ton: Kana Hanazawa
- Wayne King: Daiki Yamashita
- Luke Bowen: Nobuhiko Okamoto
- Vlad Garfunkel: Takahiro Sakurai
- Tōryū: Tomokazu Sugita
Happy Elements describes the title as:
The stage is modern, London.
A world in which people who are not “shadows” are born from human fears and fears ….A young girl who came for college studies can get involved in a bizarre incident as soon as she arrives at the university.
A strange coffee shop that was open quietly at midnight when she did not know her, asking for help.
Its name is “Cafe Forbidden”
– Places where guards who keep the boundary between people and shadows gather –
