Today, we meet the people who will bring these lovers to life onscreen.
Earlier today, the official Bloom Into You (Yagate Kimi ni Naru) anime website updated with the first voice cast members. The series will star the following:
- Yuu Koito: Yuuki Takada
- Touko Nanami: Minako Kotobuki
Bloom Into You will hit Japanese TV in October.
Makoto Katō (Beautiful Bones: Sakurako’s Investigation) is directing the project at Troyca, with Hiroaki Gohda (Please Teacher!, Amagami SS) providing character designs. Jukki Hanada (Love Live!, Sound! Euphonium) is in charge of series composition and writing the scripts for the title.
Nio Nakatani’s Bloom Into You manga launched in the pages of Dengeki Daioh in April 2015. The ongoing series currently spans four collected volumes, with volume 5 slated to ship to retailers on June 26.
Seven Seas holds the rights to the title in North America. They describe it as:
Yuu has always loved shoujo manga and awaits the day she gets a love confession that sends her heart aflutter with bubbles and hearts, and yet when a junior high classmate confesses his feelings to her…she feels nothing. Disappointed and confused, Yuu enters high school still unsure how to respond.
