Earlier today, Aniplex of America announced that upcoming anime Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story will stream on FunimationNow, Crunchyroll, and HIDIVE. The series will launch on FunimationNow on January 4, 2020, while both Crunchyroll and HIDIVE will start streaming the show a week later, on January 11.

In exchange for the fulfillment of a wish, Magical Girls keep fighting, unbeknownst to the rest of the world.
But Iroha Tamaki can’t seem to remember her wish.

Gekidan Inu Curry will serve as Chief Director at Shaft, while handling series composition duties. Junichirō Taniguchi (Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun, Puella Magi Madoka Magica) is providing character designs.
Trysail will perform opening theme song Gomakashi (Deception), while Claris performs Alicia, the title’s closing theme.
