Look to the skies, lest you miss the action!
Earlier today, the official Kouya no Kotobuki Hikoutai (Kotobuki’s Wilderness Squadron, lit. Kotobuki Squadron in the Wilderness) anime website updated with a new teaser trailer, as well as visuals for two aircraft and details on the show’s premiere schedule.
We break the details down below.
Trailer
The 83-second promo introduces the main cast members and plot beats, while offering a brief glimpse of the show’s action scenes. Theme song Sora no Ne (Sound of the Sky) by ZAQ kicks in as a background track at the 30-second mark.

Premiere
Kouya no Kotobuki Hikoutai will hit Japanese TV on January 13. The full premiere schedule is as follows:

Tsutomu Mizushima (Girls und Panzer, Shirobako) will direct the project at studio GEMBA, with Shou Sugai providing character designs. Michiko Yokote (Princess Tutu, Genshiken) is in charge of series composition for the project.
