It looks like these airborne rustlers are ready to scare up some action.
Earlier today, an official website for upcoming anime Kouya no Kotobuki Hikoutai (Kotobuki’s Wilderness Squadron, lit. Kotobuki Squadron in the Wilderness) opened its doors. The new site features the show’s main cast and crew, as well as a teaser trailer.

Trailer
The 30-second promo flashes through shots of the show’s main characters at rest in a restaurant, before cutting to shots of them geared up and flying in fighter planes.

Tsutomu Mizushima (Girls und Panzer, Shirobako) will direct the project at studio GEMBA, with Shou Sugai providing character designs. Michiko Yokote (Princess Tutu, Genshiken) is in charge of series composition for the project.

Premiere
Kouya no Kotobuki Hikoutai will hit Japanese TV in January 2019. A streaming event for the project will be held on September 21, at the Tokyo Game Show. The main voice cast will attend the event as guests.
The title will be a multimedia franchise, with both an anime TV series and smartphone games planned for release.
The first key visuals for the project were also revealed earlier tonight. The first visual features a character standing on a runway, her allies visible behind her as an orange sunset fills the sky.
The latter image features the cast relaxing in a restaurant over dinner and drinks.
