Say goodbye to Karen and Alice because soon they’ll be going, going, gone.
In the January 2020 issue of Manga Time Kirara Max magazine, it’s been revealed that the popular four-panel manga series Kiniro Mosaic will end in four chapters. The ‘cute girls doing cute things’ series began its serialization in 2010 and has ten volumes in print as of July 2019. Yen Press publishes the series in English and describes the story:
Alice has just transferred to a school in Japan from England, and a whole world of adventures await with her new friends Shinobu, Aya, Karen, and Youko. Join the girls’ daily school lives as they learn more about Japan’s language and culture!
The series also spawned two anime adaptations which aired in 2013 and 2015 (and if you haven’t watched either of these series, you should absolutely go about doing so!). Both series were streamed by Crunchyroll and later licensed and released on home video by Sentai Filmworks.
