Earlier today, Netflix announced that the second season of Kengan Ashura will launch on October 31. Episodes 13 through 24 will be offered worldwide as part of the company’s Netflix Original lineup.

The first season of Kengan Ashura launched on Netflix on July 31.
Kengan Ashura is based on Yabako Sandrovich and illustrator Daromeon’s manga of the same name. Seiji Kishi (Assassination Classroom, Persona 4: The Animation) is directing the project at Larx Entertainment, with Kazuaki Morita (Assassination Classroom, Classroom of the Elite) providing character designs. Makoto Uezu (Akame ga KILL!, The Heroic Legend of Arslan) is in charge of series composition for the project.
Netflix describes the series as:
Kazuo Yamashita is an ordinary fifty-six year old man who one day is summoned by the chairman of his company and hired as a gladiator. He learns that these hired gladiators engage in battles called “Kengan Matches: to protect the corporate rights of the businesses they represent. Kazuo Yamashita is assigned to battle a mysterious Kengan fighter named Ohma Tokita. Both men join the “Kengan Zetsumei Tournament” with the hope of winning the spot as chairman of the Kengan Organization.
