Earlier today, the official Kakegurui anime website updated with the cast, crew, and a key visual for the show’s upcoming second season. The new image features a low-angle rear shot of leading lady Yumeko Jabami, who is posing on a pedestal above a sea of adoring students.
Kakegurui‘s second season airs in January 2019.
Kiyoshi Matsuda (Kumamiko – Girl meets Bear) will co-direct with Yuichiro Hayashi (Garo the Animation, PES: Peace Eco Smile) at Mappa, with Manabu Akita reprising their role as character designer. Yasuko Kobayashi (Attack on Titan, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) is returning to take charge of series composition for the show.
Hayashi, Akita, and Kobayashi were the key staff members on the show’s first season.
