Earlier today, an official website and Twitter account opened their doors to announce that Yasuyuki Kosaka’s Hōkago Teibō Nisshi (Afterschool Embankment Journal) will get an anime TV series. A teaser visual, which features the main cast fishing on the pier, as well as a celebratory illustration by Kosaka were both revealed. You can check both out below.

Yasuyuki Kosaka’s Hōkago Teibō Nisshi launched in the pages of Akita Shoten’s Young Champion Retsu magazine in February 2017. Three volumes have been released to date, with the fourth slated to hit stores on April 19.
Manga resource Baka-Updates describes the title as:
Hina Tsurugi is a first year student at a coastal high school and regards herself as an indoorsy sort of person. Walking along the embankment, she runs into an older schoolmate, Kuroiwa, who invites her to join the “Teibou” club and start fishing! Surrounded by eccentric club members, how will Hina’s high school life turn out?
