Earlier today, the official Shonen Jump website announced that Dainenbyō’s Gunjō no Magmell (Ultramarine Magmell) will receive an anime adaptation. The first staff for the project were revealed, and Dainenbyō showed off a celebratory sketch.

Hayato Date (Naruto, Saiyuki) will take the director’s chair at Studio Pierrot, with Chūji Mikasano (Tokyo Ghoul franchise) taking charge of series composition. Yasuharu Takanashi (Fairy Tail, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal) will score the show’s soundtrack..

Dainenbyō’s Gunjō no Magmell launched on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in June 2015. The series currently spans four compiled volumes, with the latest hitting stores on July 4, 2017.
