The dub scene is packed with epic tales of Titans and Overlords, Ragnarok and demons.
Earlier today, Funimation unveiled nine titles in their Summer 2018 SimulDub lineup. The company will produce dubs for the following:
- Attack on Titan Season 3
- Angels of Death
- Overlord III
- How Not to Summon a Demon Lord
- The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar
- My Hero Academia
- Steins:Gate 0
- Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-
- Black Clover
The announced titles will also be available via VRV and VRV Select.
Of the announced titles, My Hero Academia, Steins;Gate 0, Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits-, and Black Clover are continuations from the Spring season.
Attack on Titan
Attack on Titan‘s third season will be available to subscribers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
Tetsuro Araki (Death Note, High School of the Dead, Attack on Titan Season 1) will return as chief director for the project, while Masashi Koizuka reprises his role as director at Wit Studio. Kyoji Asano (Psycho-Pass) is returning as character designer, while Yasuko Kobayashi (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Shakugan no Shana) reprises her duty on series composition.
Funimation describes Attack on Titan‘s third season as:
After recovering Eren and Historia, the recruits are put under the care of Levi. Stuck out in the middle of nowhere, Hange subjects Eren to a series of experiments in an attempt to find out more about his ability. But when their link to the secrets behind the wall is murdered, the squad must move out and find a new refuge. Except, a figure from Levi’s past has his own plans to stop them.
Angels of Death
Angels of Death will be available to subscribers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
Kentarō Suzuki (MARGINAL #4 the Animation) was tapped to direct Angels of Death at J.C. Staff, with Miki Matsumoto providing character designs. Yoshikazu Fujioka (Requiem from the Darkness, Mōryō no Hako) is in charge of series composition for the project.
Overlord III
Overlord III will be available to subscribers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Ireland.
Madhouse will produce the new season of Overlord.
The previous show, Overlord II, ended on April 3.
Naoyuki Itou returned to direct Overlord‘s second season at Madhouse, with Yukie Sugawara back in charge of series composition. Character designer Takahiro Yoshimatsu (Desert Punk, Trigun) was joined by Satoshi Tasaki (No Game, No Life Zero, Rideback) this time around.
How Not to Summon a Demon Lord
How Not to Summon a Demon Lord will be available to subscribers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand
Yūta Murano (Brave Beats, Dream Festival!) was tapped to direct at Ajia-do, with Shizue Kaneko (If Her Flag Breaks, Monster Strike The Movie) providing character designs. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Yatterman Night) is in charge of series composition for the project.
The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar
The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar will be available to subscribers in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand
Kōsuke Kobayashi (Alice or Alice) will direct The Master of Ragnarok & Blesser of Einherjar anime at EMT Squared, with Mariko Ito (Anonymous Noise, Log Horizon) providing character designs. Natsuko Takahashi (Hakyū Hōshin Engi, Yuyushiki) is in charge of series composition for the project.
