Earlier today, the Fruits Basket anime’s official Twitter account confirmed that the series will return for a second season. The title is slated to return to the airwaves in 2020.
The show’s first season aired in the Spring 2019 broadcast season. The season ended earlier today with episode 25.
Yoshihide Ibata (FLCL Progressive, Attack on Titan: Junior High) directed the title at TMS Entertainment, with Masaru Shindo providing character designs. Taku Kishimoto (Bunny Drop, Magi: Adventure of Sinbad) was in charge of series composition.
Crunchyroll and Funimation both streamed the series as part of their digital lineups. Crunchyroll describes the show as:
