Earlier today, the official website for upcoming anime film For Whom the Alchemist Exists updated with a new key visual. The image features the film’s main characters sitting on a motorcycle, before a giant robot. A pair of magicians can be seen hovering above.
For Whom the Alchemist Exists hits Japanese theaters on June 14.
Shoji Kawamori (Macross franchise, Aquarion) is serving as chief director for the project, while Masanori Takahashi (When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace) takes the director’s chair at Satelight. Chikashi Kadekaru (Juni Taisen: Zodiac War, Hōkago Mania Club) is providing character designs for the feature, while Toshizo Nemoto (Log Horizon, Tokyo Majin) writes the script.
The confirmed voice cast includes:
- Kasumi Nagasaka: Inori Minase
- Edgar L. Leonhart: Ryota Ohsaka
For Whom the Alchemist Exists is based on Japanese smartphone game Ta ga Tame no Alchemist from FgG games. The project was first announced in February 2018.
