Earlier today, the official Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel film trilogy’s website updated with a new trailer and key visual for the upcoming second film. We break the details down below:
Trailer
The 85-second promo opens with Illyasviel von Einzbern, before an operatic track kicks in as a background track, and the promo begins cutting between the main players in the film. Character dialogue delivers the core story beats.
Key Visual
The main cast members stand, ready for battle against a crimson background. Shirou stands front and center, while Sakura takes a prominent placement in the top-right corner.
Fate/stay night: Heaven’s Feel II. lost butterfly will hit Japanese theaters this year. Aniplex of America will give the feature a theatrical run, with a tentative release window of 2019.
The Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] films will adapt the “Heaven’s Feel” branch of the Fate/stay night visual novel. Tomonori Sudou (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works) will helm the project at ufotable, with Takahiro Miura providing storyboards. Yuki Kajiura (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Madlax) will score the films’ soundtracks.
