Earlier today, the official Dr. Stone anime website updated with a new teaser trailer.
The two-minute promo introduces the major story beats through character narration, before diving into an extended prologue. Opening theme song Good Morning World! by Burnout Syndromes kicks in as a background track at the 1:16 mark.
Dr. Stone will hit Japanese TV on July 5. Crunchyroll will host the show’s premiere on July 4, at Anime Expo. Both Anime Expo and Funimation will stream the show, with Crunchyroll streaming a simulcast and Funimation producing a SimulDub.
Shinya Iino will direct the project at TMS Entertainment, with Yuko Iwasa (Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Yowamushi Pedal Movie) providing character designs. Yuichiro Kido (Gatchaman CROWDS insight) is in charge of series composition.

Riichiro Inagaki and illustrator Boichi’s Dr. Stone manga launched in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017. The series spans nine compiled volumes to date, with the latest shipping to stores on February 4.
