Over the weekend, Crunchyroll announced that they will host their fourth annual Anime Awards event on February 15, 2020. The event, which will be held at Crunchyroll’s San Francisco headquarters, will be live-streamed for the public.
Crunchyroll will announce details on nominees and the voting process in early 2020.
2019’s Anime Awards were held on February 16. The event, which was hosted by Cristina Vee and presented by Devil May Cry 5, saw fifteen categories up for nomination. Devilman Crybaby took home Anime of the Year, with series director Masaaki Yuasa winning Best Director. My Hero Academia claimed thee most awards overall, with five wins.
