Earlier today, Crunchyroll announced that they will add feature films Peace Maker Kurogane – Belief and Peace Maker Kurogane – Friend to their digital lineup. Both films will hit the company’s digital platform on March 27 for all subscribers outside of Asia and German-language territories.

Peace Maker Kurogane – Belief hit Japanese theaters on June 2, 2018. Peace Maker Kurogane – Friend debuted in cinemas on November 17 of the same year.
Hiroshi Takeuchi (Blade & Soul, Zunda Horizon) was tapped to direct the project at White Fox, with Sayaka Koiso (Rail Wars!, Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers) providing character designs. Eiji Umehara (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- , Beelzebub) is wrote the scripts.

Though the Shinsengumi took a huge blow following the Incident at Aburano Koji, they prepare themselves to carry out their devotion to the Shogun, Tokugawa Yoshinobu. Meanwhile, the Imperial Court proclaims the end of the Tokugawa shogunate, and Yoshinobu withdraws to Osaka. The Shinsengumi prepares for battle as well, relocating their station to the Fushimi magistrate’s office.
