Back in 2021 we officially opened our merch store, which offers our Trans Magical Warrior designs by Nico Neeks and our fantastic site logo by Katy Castillo. The enthusiastic embrace of these artists and the site warmed us to the bottom of our hearts—which is why we’re so excited to introduce you to our latest collaborator!
We wanted to give everyone a heads-up on an upcoming Patreon adjustment. Beginning July 1, we will be adjusting the perks available in each of our tiers.
We’ve been teasing this for a while and it’s finally a reality: AniFem has rebranded with shiny new logos and our very own crest!
We’ve been talking about this for years and we’re so excited to make it a reality: the AniFem online store is officially open for business!
Just in time for harvest season, we’ve got a cornucopia of exciting news for you!
Some of you may have noticed that our monthly Patreon totals saw a, uh, rather sharp uptick the past few months. We try to be as transparent with our supporters as possible, so we thought we should address that and our financial plans for the immediate future.
As many of you know, we launched a Fundraiser Drive in mid-September 2020 to help us pay for podcast transcripts. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to meet our Patreon goals, meaning we need to adjust our publication schedule to meet costs and needs.
Just a quick announcement for y’all: Like we did last September (2019), we’re taking the rest of November off from publishing new contributor pieces and will be running “reruns” of older articles instead.
Balancing our responsibility to increase accessibility with the uncertainties of 2020, we’re launching an Extremely Chill Fundraiser to fund podcast transcripts and help meet the needs of our AniFam. This drive comes in two parts: one to cover future podcast transcripts, and another to cover the transcript backlog (episodes 76-125).
Marking our first site update since the fundraiser wrapped two months ago, we have some big news, both exciting and a little sad.
March has been low on reasons to celebrate (to say the least), but here’s a small one for our readers: AniFem’s first-ever fundraiser has officially completed all its major tasks! Cheers, AniFam!
We have good news and delayed news.
We’d hoped to have the review database complete by mid-February, and thanks to hard work and copious cups of coffee, we’ve done exactly that!
A new year, a new anime season, and a new website—look at us multitasking out here.
The wait is over! We’ve officially launched the redesigned Anime Feminist, complete with a clean, accessible design, upgraded search and filter options, a revamped tagging system, and easier access to articles old and new.
Should auld target dates be forgot and never brought to mind~
We’re nearing the finish line and 2019 is looking to end with an accomplished bang! Keep reading for way too many exclamation marks as we get excited about Indiegogo goals a year in the making.
Despite the sea of premiere reviews that overtook us like it does every three months, we’ve made good across-the-board progress on achieving all our fundraiser goals. Keep reading for updates and a sneak peek at the art design!
We spent the past month locked in to fundraiser tasks and made significant progress across all fronts. Onwards to the updates!
