So, will this series live up to its namesake?
Earlier today, the official website for Japanese TV show Kimi Mote Lodge announced the main voice cast, as well as several staffers attached to the Kimi dake ni Motetainda anime project.
We break the details down below.
Staff
HoneyWorks designer Yamako (I’m glad I could keep running) will provide character designs for the project, while Mari Okada (Maquia – When the Promised Flower Blooms, Black Butler) takes charge of series composition.
Cast
Five cast members were confirmed, though their specific roles have yet to be announced. All five are newcomers to the anime voice acting scene, who were chosen by an open audition process. The quintet will form the “High School Children” group.

Kimi Mote Lodge is a Japanese TV program, which covers the audition process for the Kimi dake ni Motetainda anime.
The project was first announced in April by the Twin Planet talent agency. The project is a joint venture between AKB48 producer Yasushi Akimoto and NTV.
Akimoto is best known for founding idol group AKB48 in 2005, and rival group Nogizaka46 in 2011.
