On December 25, the final episode of the Beastars anime aired on Japanese TV. Following the episode, an announcement was shown, which confirmed that the show will get a second season. Additional details on the season will be announced via the show’s official website and Twitter account at a later date.
Beastars started airing on October 9. Netflix announced that they will stream the show in “early 2020.”
Shinichi Matsumi directed the season at Orange, with Nao Ootsu providing character designs. Nanami Higuchi was in charge of series composition.
Paru Itagaki’s Beastars manga launched in the pages of Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine. Fourteen volumes of the title have hit stores to date, with the most recent shipping on July 8.
Viz Media currently holds the rights to the title, which they describe as:
