Earlier today, the 20th Taiwan Comic Fair was held in Taipei, Taiwan. During a presentation at the event, Netflix announced that Aggretsuko will receive a third anime season. According to Comic Natalie, Rarecho is attached to the new season, as is Sanrio designer Yeti.
Netflix revealed a new visual for the series, which features Retsuko standing in the rubble of her office, ready to thrash.
Aggretsuko‘s second season launched on Netflix worldwide on June 14. Like the first season, the title was presented as a Netflix Original.
Rarecho returned to direct and write the new season.

Everyone’s favorite death metal panda is back! Retsuko will return to Netflix for Aggretsuko Season 2. Produced by Fanworks and featuring a character originally created by Sanrio, the creator of Hello Kitty, season two of Aggretsuko is coming to Netflix.
The first season of the Aggretsuko anime launched on April 20, 2018.
Rarecho, who directed the first Aggretsuko TV series, returned to the director’s chair at studio Fanworks. The director also wrote the show’s scripts.
Aggretsuko‘s first anime series hit Japanese TV in April 2016. The ongoing series is a short-form title that airs during TBS’s Ō-sama no Brunch program. Eighty-five episodes have been produced to date.
